Engaged Employers Award

Dr. Joseph Massa accepted the Highly Engaged Employers award at the University of Iowa Career Impact Awards ceremony on May 7th. We are incredibly grateful for this recognition, and for the opportunity we have had to provide hands-on experience and training to our 40 interns. These talented individuals have brought fresh perspectives, energy, and dedication to our work, helping us better serve adults living with chronic mental illness in our community. Their contributions, whether assisting clients in our Housing, Outreach, Day Hab, or IPR programs, have been instrumental in carrying forward our mission of supporting recovery, independence, and progress.

This award is not only a celebration of our internship program, but also a reflection of the powerful collaboration between our staff, interns, and partners. At Successful Living, we believe that growth happens through shared learning and mutual support, and our interns embody that belief every day. We would not be where we are without them, and we look forward to continuing this partnership for years to come, by empowering both the next generation of mental health professionals and the clients whose lives they touch.
