Peer Support Program Manager

While finishing up her third semester in the University of Iowa's Rehabilitation Counseling Master's Program, Lauren sought out Successful Living for her full-time internship experience, drawn to its progressive initiatives and emphasis on person-centered care. Lauren joined the IPR Program in January 2025 as their first graduate level professional intern. After graduating with a Master of Arts in Counselor Education, Lauren accepted a position to spearhead Successful Living's long-awaited Peer Support Program that was set to launch later in the year. Lauren enjoys using her lived experience and training to provide a sense of genuine understanding for Successful Living's clients. Lauren also serves as Successful Living's Clinical Supervisor for new Rehabilitation Counseling professional interns. She appreciates the opportunity to give back to her program and introduce Successful Living to the next generation of counselors. Lauren hopes to continue providing support services to her client peers and empower them to live self-determined, fulfilling lives as valued members of the community.
